Third of National Breast Cancer Training Courses is organized in Sivas
IV. National Breast Cancer Training Courses will be organized in Manisa (25.09.2010)
III. National Breast Cancer Training Course by Turkish Federation of Breast Diseases Societies together with the Ministry of Health Cancer Control Department was held in Sivas on 26.06.2010. In the courses including participants of General Surgery, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Microbiology, and Pathology Specialists from State Hospitals in Sivas, Yozgat, Tokat, Erzincan, Ordu, and KETEM Physicians, 23 of scientists gave lectures and attended to the panel discussions.
Federation's President Prof. Dr. Vahit Özmen extended his thanks to the spokespersons and participants for their interest on the third of the National Breast Cancer Training Courses of MHDF, that will be containing all country in 2010- 2011 period. He also mentioned that he wishes upcoming training courses to benefit to Turkish Scientists and Physicians.
"IV. National Breast Cancer Training Course" will be organized in Manisa on the date of 25.09.2010.

As Turkish Federation of Breast Diseases Societies, as a result of the application we made to the Provincial Associations Directorate of Ankara to assume the title of "Turkish", we successfully passed our first auditing process.

Second of National Breast Cancer Training Courses was organized in Eskişehir
"II. National Breast Cancer Training Course" by Turkish Federation of Breast Diseases Societies was held in Eskişehir on 15.05.2010 with the participation of Prof. Dr. Murat Tuncer, Head of Ministry of Health Cancer Control Department. In the courses including participants of General Surgery, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Microbiology, and Pathology Specialists from State Hospitals in Eskişehir, Afyon, Kütahya, Konya, Karaman, and KETEM Physicians, 15 of scientists gave lectures and attended to the panel discussions.

Physicians warn: Proposed laws present at the agenda of Turkish Grand National Assembly and known as "Full Day" and "Public Hospital Unions" by the public, provides no positive benefit to either our population or to the physicians. On the contrary, if such drafts are enacted, non-recoverable defects will occur in healthcare environments, particularly in Training and Research Hospitals and Hospitals of Schools of Medicine affiliated to the Ministry.

The World Society for Breast Health
In the General Board Meeting of The World Society for Breast Health held in Tianjin, China on 17-20 June 2007, duty changed were performed and Prof.Dr.Shahla Masood was elected as General Director and Prof.Dr.Vahit Özmen was assigned as General Secretary.
